Photography Classes

This class is designed for beginners looking to learn the basics of photography with a DSLR camera. Before you begin taking photos, it is helpful to understand how your equipment works. Learning about the features and mechanics of your DSLR/Mirrorless camera is essential for taking quality photos.

You will learn the following:

Camera Modes • Shutter Speed • Aperture • ISO 

Metering • Focus setting • Camera Settings • Composition

Classes are available for groups and/or individuals.

For this class you need: DSLR/Mirrorless camera

*If you do not own and camera and are looking to purchase one and would like to get some hands-on experience before deciding to invest in a camera, one can be provided via a rental.

Classes are either one taught on one or in small groups and scheduled on weekends. Depending on the weather, what the student is looking to learn and if I am teaching a 2- or 4-hour class we normally meet up at a local park or library.

$120 for 2-hour class ($150 w/ camera rental)

$250 for 4-hour class ($300 w/ camera rental)
